Wóďa & Dekorace (CZ)

Martin Vodehnal, also known as Wóďa, is a bard at heart from Prague’s Malá Strana district. After a period of performing solo with just a guitar, he surrounded himself with four more musicians and headed into the studio. In 2024 they recorded the EP Zhasnem, followed in November 2025 by the eponymous album WÓĎA & DEKORACE. The songs were recorded by the five-piece band at Studio Jámor with producer Ondřej Ježek.

Wóďa’s songwriting reflects his life, much of which takes place in Malá Strana, where music itself forms the core of his daily world. He tries to capture it in songs that sometimes invite reflection and sometimes bring a smile.

Previously, he performed as the singer and guitarist of the band Špuntkvaně, whose sound carried a noticeably stronger punk influence compared to his current work.
