Kate Maple (CZ)

We are the folk-rock band Kate Maple and have been active on the Czech music scene since late 2023. Since then, we have released several singles and, at the beginning of 2025, our debut EP Those Days Before. We collaborate with prominent names from the Czech music scene, such as Igor Ochepovský (Ewa Farna, David Koller) and Jan Brambůrek (Houpací koně, Vypsaná fiXa).

We have already achieved several successes both in the Czech Republic and abroad. We became finalists of the Showcase of the Ústí Region (2023), semifinalists of the UK Songwriting Contest (2024), winners of RFP Talents, and placed 3rd at the national Porta festival.

Our music has also attracted media attention — we have been featured by outlets such as Refresher and Frontman.cz, and appeared as guests on the ArtCafé programme on Czech Radio Vltava. We have played dozens of concerts across the country, with our biggest show so far taking place at Rock for People as part of the Festival REGIONY.

Our signature element is three-part vocal harmonies, which form the core of our distinctive sound — a blend of folk, rock and americana.
